Dashboard Overview

Understand your main dashboard — view, search, and manage all your Base and Tailored resumes.

Resume Listing

The main section of the dashboard displays your Base Resume and all Tailored Resumes in a scrollable list or grid format.
Each resume appears as a card showing its title, creation date, and quick actions (edit, download, or delete).

  • Base Resume: Your main document that contains all personal, education, experience, and skill details.

  • Tailored Resume: Versions generated from your Base Resume for specific job roles.

Tip: Keep your Base Resume updated as all tailored versions are built from it.

Resume Cards (Base vs Tailored)

Each card on the dashboard represents a resume version.

Base Resume Card Includes:

  • Label: Base Resume

  • Created and last updated date

  • “Edit” button to open in the Resume Editor

  • “Tailor” button to start tailoring for a job

Tailored Resume Card Includes:

  • Label: Tailored Resume

  • Associated job title (e.g., “Frontend Developer at Google”)

  • Match Score (e.g., “87% Match”)

  • “View Changes” and “Download” buttons

Cards make it easy to identify which version corresponds to which job application.

Resume Thumbnails

Each resume card displays a small thumbnail preview of your resume layout thus giving you a quick visual cue before opening it.

Quick Actions

Hover over any resume card to see quick-access buttons for:

  • Edit: Opens the Resume Editor.

  • Tailor: Starts the AI tailoring flow.

  • Download: Exports as PDF or .tex file.

  • Delete: Removes the selected version.

You can perform these actions directly without navigating to separate pages.

Creating New Resumes

To create a new Base Resume:

  1. Click the + New Resume button.

  2. Choose how to start:

    • Upload an existing resume, or

    • Create from scratch using manual data entry.

Once created, it appears as the first card on your dashboard.

Tip: You can have only one Base Resume at a time — but unlimited tailored versions.

Search and Filtering

The Letraz dashboard includes a smart search bar powered by Algolia integration for fast and accurate searching.

You can search by:

  • Resume title

  • Job role or company name

  • Keywords within your resume description

As you type, results appear instantly — helping you find the right resume within seconds, even if you have multiple tailored versions.
