Creating a Tailored Resume

Starting the Tailoring Process

From your Dashboard, click Create Tailored Resume.
You’ll be prompted to:

• Paste a Job URL, or

• Enter the Job Description manually.

Providing Job URLs vs Raw Descriptions

• Job URL: Letraz automatically extracts all relevant details (title, company, location, and requirements).

• Raw Description: Paste text directly if the listing is not online (e.g., from emails or internal job boards).

Job Information Extraction

Letraz detects:

• Job Title

• Company Name

• Location

• Requirements & Responsibilities

• Preferred Skills

• Benefits (if listed)

This information appears inside a Job Details modal where you can review and confirm before tailoring begins.

Processing and Wait Times

After confirming, Letraz processes your request.
Depending on the length of the description, tailoring takes 10–30 seconds.
A loading indicator will show “Tailoring your resume…” while the system works.

Viewing Tailored Resumes

Once complete, you’ll see your tailored version under the Tailored Resumes tab in the dashboard.
Each version includes:

• The job title it was tailored for

• A preview of modified sections

Tip: You can create multiple tailored versions for different roles from the same Base Resume.
