Download your resume as a high-quality PDF or LaTeX file instantly.

PDF Export

The Download as PDF option creates a polished, professional document that looks identical to your in-app preview.
Letraz ensures that all spacing, alignment, and text sizes remain consistent across devices.

How to Export as PDF:

  1. Open your completed resume (Base or Tailored version).

  2. Click the Download button in the top-right corner.

  3. Choose Download as PDF.

  4. The file will automatically download to your system.

Tip: Always review your preview before exporting. What you see on screen is exactly what will appear in your PDF.

PDF Rendering (via LaTeX)

Behind the scenes, Letraz uses LaTeX to render your resume into a clean, mathematically precise layout.
This ensures:

  • Perfect alignment of text and sections.

  • Consistent spacing between lines.

  • Professional print quality for all exports.

Even though you don’t see LaTeX while editing, it runs silently in the background each time you export.

LaTeX (.tex) Export

For users who prefer more control, Letraz also allows LaTeX file downloads.
The .tex file contains the same structured data used to generate your PDF.
You can open it in any LaTeX editor (like Overleaf or Texmaker) to make custom adjustments.

How to Export as .tex:

  1. Click Download.

  2. Choose Download as .tex file.

  3. The file saves to your computer, ready for editing.

Note: Editing LaTeX files requires some technical familiarity, but it gives advanced users full control over margins, fonts, and spacing.

Export URLs and Access

Each exported file is available instantly after processing.
You’ll see a temporary download URL that lets you retrieve the file again without re-rendering.
Letraz automatically removes older temporary files after a short duration to maintain data privacy.

Export Quality Settings

All exports use high-quality rendering, optimized for both digital and print formats.
The system automatically adjusts:

  • Font scaling for readability.

  • Page margins for balance.

  • Section spacing to prevent text overflow.

You don’t need to configure anything. Letraz handles these optimizations automatically.

File Naming Conventions

Exported files follow a clear naming format for easy organization:

Format:
[YourName]_Resume_[Date].pdf

Example:
Nethra_Ramesh_Resume_Nov2025.pdf

This makes it simple to keep track of multiple tailored versions for different job applications.
